Gossamer Girls are one of a kind, 18 inch dolls created just for you. They are soft, hand crocheted dolls that can be made in any color, within reason, and with any expression on their face that you would like. They can be as unusual or as ordinary as any girl. A wild friend to egg you into adventures, or a quiet companion for nights at home. Here are some ideas:
They are the same size as American Girl dolls so they can wear the great variety of clothing and shoes available for dolls in this size. Or, I make a selection of clothing designed especially for these girls who live in The Other City. Below, Mercy is modeling a tunic top, skirt and shawl. On her feet, she is wearing standard American Girl sized maryjane shoes. Special clothing is also available on request.

Gossamer Girls are the perfect companion for children 7 years or older, or for grown women. They are made of non-toxic yarn with rooted hair that can be styled and will not come out. Their features are embroided and will not pose a choking hazard. They are art pieces or friends, as needed. Each one is sturdy enough for rough play, but equally enjoys sitting on a shelf.
