Elysium knows the weight of time, she knows the burden of waiting long years. Her hair takes on the colour of the sunset as she watches the end of another day.On soft and silken slippers, she totters through the city. She looks for nothing, and requires nothing. There is only another day.
Elysium stands 20 inches tall and is made of acrylic yarn for easy washing. Her face is hand embroidered with delicate features. Her hair is rooted and will not come out if it is pulled on. It is very soft and lustrous in person. Elysium's feet are posed on tip-toe and wear ballet style slippers. She comes with a corset-style top which laces up the front and a simple black skirt. Both of these are removeable. She is ready to go find a new home in which to spend these long winter evenings.
I am very proud of Elysium. Her face is my best work to date, and I love the detail of her pointe feet. I've used this same yarn for hair before and I still love it. It is so soft and wild and it is the perfect thickness for hair. She went with me to work last week, so I could work on her clothes while I was on break and my coworkers enjoyed her quite a bit as well. I will be sad to see her go when she sells, but by then I should have a new triumph.
